Diary 2 03/12/2007

Good morning all well its morning while I'm writing this but I've no idea when your reading it so greetings instead.

Welcome to the first real blog of the 07/08 season. So what's been happening in the weird and wonderful world of the hamburgalar. Well we played limerick on Friday night a deceptively strong team and they pushed is all the way. We looked dead and buried a few times during the game but down the stretch we came good. Going into the fourth we were down ten we switched defence and and someome threw Ian o Boyle's shooting switch to on and he just lit up. Single handedly pulling us level and then ahead and Bryce finished with a nice dunk on the buzzer. The game went out live on the internet on irishsport.TV hopefully this website will take off and Irish basketball will finally get the airtime it deserves.

Remember the glory days when Neptune was The place to play and the oblate hall would be packed to the rafters regardless of who roadspeed were playing. We need to get those crowds back to games we need to inspire a new legion of fans and new legion of players. Ok that's that rant out of the way.

So what else went on this week hmmm let me see well not much is the answer I was due to coach my knicks Wednesday night but for some unknown reason neither referee showed so that's another game to be played after Christmas. Well that's another week over we have ucd this weekend so i'll be talking to you after that and hopefully with another w under our belts

So until next week

Keep it real

This is captain cheese burger signing off
