Hey , hows it going?. Thanks for visiting my webpage. So, what would you like to know about me? I was born in March of 1981, and have lived all my life in Castleknock, Dublin. I came to Maynooth in 1999 to attend the 4 year course in Computer Science & Software Engineering. In 2003 I began a PhD, again in Maynooth.
Other than Computer Science my general hobbies and interests are soccer, snooker, and music. I was also the one time Counter Strike champion of the CSSE class, and can compete at a high level in both Slime Volleyball, and Soccer Slime. I read a fair bit, usually whatever is nearest to hand. At the moment I am flying through Michael Connelly novels, most of which are excellent.
If there are any worse pics of me, send it to me, and I'll use it instead.
Since June 2005 I've kept a weblog. It allows me to write about things that I can't publish about, but still think many people should read. At least that was the original plan, I now use it to give out about things too. In it I write on 5 topics, they are Computer Science Education, Programming, Usability, Cool Programs, and Books. If you're interested, read on.
I have been a member of the Minds society since the start, although some may dispute when the start actually was. Lets just say I was there when it was call the Maynooth Information Technology Society. I am a big fan of Minds, and all it does for the computer science department and its students.
